The Rabbitry
ARBA Registered- D12535
Our Rabbitry is home to 30 rabbits. We have five different breeds, and each breed has its own program here on the homestead. Our rabbitry originally started with New Zealand's and Mini rexes, but quickly grew larger and soon became a huge passion. We were given the opportunity to buy out two local rabbitry and we have continued working on their lines. Our rabbits are bred to meet the ARBA "Standard of Perfection," while we cannot guarantee a rabbit will place at a show, we do our best to ensure you are getting a quality rabbit.
B.O.B and B.O.S ribbons won by some of the harlequin rabbits in 2020 and 2021

TLR Rabbitry does not ship or deliver rabbits.
We will work with transporters; however, we are very strict about who we work with. Rabbits are to be picked up locally within 1 week of you inquiring. We do not hold any rabbit after 8 weeks old without a deposit.

Commonly Asked Questions
Q- How much food should I feed my new bunny?
A- Your bunny should be fed according to size. We feed 16oz to our large breeds and about 8 oz to our dwarf/small breeds. this is per day with access to fresh water and hay.
Q- Should I breed my bunny?
A- Unless you have a plan for the kits, I recommend no. Breeding is not for everyone, and chances are if you have to ask if you should breed your bunny, you have no business breeding.
Q- Does my bunny need a bath?
A- NO! Rabbits do not need bath. They clean themselves like cats, and a bunny should only be given a bath if it's absolutely necessary then it should be completely dried. Baths increase the risk of shock, pneumonia, and ear infections.
