Polish

Polish rabbits are a compact breed, most often bred by fanciers and commonly exhibited in rabbit shows. Despite its name, the Polish rabbit likely originated in England but is still unknown. Polish come in a several colors, but only 5 colors are recognized by the ARBA. Black, blue, chocolate, blue eyed white, and red eyed white are among those colors. Polish rabbits should only grow to be 3.5LBS.

TLR Polish

We have only been raising this breed for a short time but have fallen completely in love with them. We primarily have blacks, and blues. However, we do have the occasional chocolate and lilac. We are dedicated to working on our type and creating showable rabbits.

2025

This year I have taken most of my time to improve the type on our Polish. Most of the rabbits we have started with have been long in their body's and less compact, many of which have peaked way to early. I wanted to focus more on type than I wanted to color... (build the barn before you paint it) ...

TLR's Iris

Broken Blue

My First breeding was with Iris and Blair. Iris is long shouldered, and peaks early. Blair is shorter in the shoulders and peaks a little later but is still early. Unfortunately, I did not like the outcome of any of the kits and opted not to grow any of them out.

TLR's Birdie

Broken Black

I followed my first litter with the breeding of Birdie and Royal Blue. Birdy is very long shouldered, and peaks early, but Royal Blue has nice shoulders and peaks a bit later, still being longer bodied but is more compact. I liked only one doe from this litter. TLR's Onyx
